Besides my diy banner I also used the reindeer silhouettes I made earlier to bring in the gold, red and black colors.
I love this little Santa Claus we have up here - my cousin handmade it for me years ago. I've always loved the diy aspect of this little guy, he's all handmade down to his little clothes.
There's something so pretty about twinkling lights at night. I love this view from the kitchen.
I love the traditional Christmas colors but I also love it when people do something different and decorate with turquoise, hot pink or all white. What a fun time of year!
So are you guys more traditional when it comes to your christmas decorating or do you like to try different things? Share with me!
I love this. It is absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Danielle!
DeleteI'm the same way, love the classics but it's always fun to switch it up:) The mantle looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurie!!

Thank you Jean! I'll join up with you guys again this week!
DeleteIt looks beautiful! I really like the "JOY" banner and the black shutter behind it all to make it all pop. We are pretty traditional in our decor, except I do have a silver and white theme in our bedroom because those and black are the colours in the room. I need to get some pics of that to post on my blog to show you! I'm working on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Antonella! And yes, I want to see your decor! I'm sure its beautiful!
DeleteI love the black shutter as a back drop for everything! It really adds to the whole vignette. I really love the jewel tones that I've seen a lot of people using but the hubby likes traditional so we stick to that usually. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashley! The shutter might be my favorite part as well. I love the jewel tones too!
DeleteHey!
